Chip Carving Fundamentals

Chip Carving Instructor: Jack Kloskoski Skill Level: All levels of experience are welcomed. Class Size: 6 Tools Required: Safety glasses, Chip Carving Knife, A clear plastic T-Square and Triangle. We will also offer a kit of these items at a special price for those that do not already have them. Description: You will learn how to sharpen your knife and how to hold it to make the different cuts. You will then learn how to layout basic geometric patterns on your storyboard and start the process of chip carving the storyboard. Price: $35.00 which includes the Basswood for the storyboard.

Woodburning

Description: You will learn the basics of wood-burning by burning a story board of different techniques like lines, pinpoints, curves and different shading styles. Which will give you the fundamentals to get you started in the enjoyment of woodburning and complete projects like the one pictured.
